I gave this book the old college try. I read about five chapters before I determined it wasn't for me. I couldn't relate to the main character - nothing about her appealed to me in any way. It wasn't that she was a bad character, she simply wasn't intriguing in any way. I began to skim ahead, and from what I gathered I quickly came to the conclusion that this book was just a bit too quirky for my tastes. It goes on the the DNF pile. No harm, no foul.
